What will police reform look like?

President Trump signed an executive order on policing that addresses a number of issues, including a national database that will track officers accused of wrongdoing, established credentialing, takes aim at mental health issues, and recognizes distrust in minority communities.
This comes as community members raised issues over use of deadly force, qualified immunity, and the use of force continuum.
“The use of force continuum, generally speaking, is the officer can use one level above what he or she is being faced with.”
